Not naive, but the German system just isnīt to be compared to yours. In economy, this isnīt really a liberal country (liberal in a sense that government keeps out of economy). Individuals wonīt get any benefits, direct or not from it. Our whole system is just based on other things than yours. Frankly if any rednecks over the pond think thereīs oppression in the US because of too many regulations and too much government they should come over here and have a look. Theyīd return mostly satisfied with the American system.
